That’s how long I’ve had the mission: “To help people achieve their goals and enjoy healthy, fulfilling lives.”
In 2007, I signed up as a Million Dollar Body coach because I needed something that would help me get back in shape after kid #2 without going to the gym. I was skeptical that I could get a good workout from some DVDs in my living room, but soon was hooked and haven’t looked back. I’ve tried all kinds of amazing workouts over the years and have often been very thankful not to be in public (I’m looking at you, HipHopAbs and Brazil Butt Lift!)
This photo collage is from some of my early years as a coach with trainers from the original programs that changed so many lives.
At some point we became Team Beachbody coaches, and most recently the company dropped the “Beachbody” concept to become BODi and promote a concept of Health Esteem.
Health Esteem is what I’ve always been about. It’s the idea that you should love yourself as you are, and make choices every day that make you feel even better. Working out isn’t always (or even often) what I feel like doing, but I feel so much better on the days that I do it, that it makes me actually want to do it. Same with eating more veggies. I’m a moderation girl who loves pizza, dessert, and wine, but I can still enjoy all of those things in a way that makes me feel good.
I’m rambling now and I’ll stop, but I’m thankful for the accountability, support, friendships, personal growth/wellness, and fun I’ve had over the last 16 years because of this company and there is so much more to come. Keep an eye out for that!
I can’t imagine a future in which I would ever leave BODi. There’s no downside and the upside is continuing to help people (including myself!) achieve their goals and live healthy, fulfilling lives. ❤️
